Hot Blac news this fall include a lot of new lines, colors and materials. Blac Graphite, Blac Alu and Blac Blood are sure must-haves.
Blac Graphite – hotter than Hell
We’ve added yet another cutting edge material to our wide range of high-end Blac frames; Graphite.
Graphite is a refinement of carbon fiber which gives it its unique grey color with a smooth snakeskin finish. In order to achieve its hardened surface, carbon fiber fronts are heated to 3,000 degrees Celsius/5,400 degrees Fahrenheit (volcanic magma is only around 1,100 Celsius/2,000 Fahrenheit).
Even compared to a very high performance material like titanium the carbon fibers are really strong and superior in many ways. Hence its popularity in high performance applications like aerospace and Formula 1. Models Tippers, Ponto, Kabanas and Calafia come with the special graphite front.
Blac Alu – lightweight strength
We’re proud to introduce four styles in a totally new materials combination: Alu front with carbon fiber temples. Experience the lightweight strength of the super thin anodized alu front. Blac Alu comes in four new styles: Female models Simone and Sanna and male models Milton and Barone. Available in black, navy, bark, burgundy, stone, ruby and violet.
Blac Blood – 7 years in the making
By popular demand we’re proudly presenting Blood – the brand new Blac color. This great finding brought about a tsunami of high fives in our design department. After seven years of intense searching and testing we’ve finally managed to come up with a red color that meets our strict requirements for carbon fiber coloring. New full carbon models Tipper and Ponto feature the blood colored temples.
